Hevru-TA: Impact investment to reduce loneliness of the elderly in Tel Aviv

The first-ever program to reduce loneliness of Tel-Aviv´s elderly residents, improve their quality of life and connect them to the community.

The program is based on building meaningful relationships in the communities surrounding these elderly residents. This includes visits by volunteers who will assist in connecting  and integrating the elderly into the activity within his community and also, utilizing a technological component, which will make the connection with family members and other project participant accessible.

Enhancing math achievements for Bedouin youth

High school students of today are high-tech professionals of tomorrow. Their ability to excel in Math will have a critical impact on the Israeli economy and society in coming decades.

The percentage of students matriculating with unit levels 4 and 5 (5 being the highest possible level) in mathematics in Rahat is significantly lower than the corresponding rate in the general population.

Preventing type 2 diabetes

Diabetes is a global health epidemic, affecting hundreds of millions of people worldwide. The World Health Organization projects that diabetes will be the 7th leading cause of death by 2030. The disease often brings with it health complications including limb amputation, blindness, and heart disease.


Today, Israel is home to about 500,000 diagnosed diabetics.
