Maayan Teper Rotem
Prior to SFI, Maayan worked in the International
Organizations unit at the Ministry of Finance, serving as the
Desk officer for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
His position included strengthening Israel´s role in international development
and supporting the relations between the private sector and MDBs in various
fields such as Syndications and Collaboration with institutional investors. Previous to that, Maayan took part in ‘Progressive
Economist´ program, and served as Co-Head of Internship in the Commission for
Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities. As part of the Internship, Maayan´s
team conducted research that examined the costs of low participation rates in
the labor force for people with disabilities. In addition, Maayan volunteered
in ‘Pa´amonim´ organization and serve there as a team leader. Maayan holds a B.A in Philosophy, Politics, and
Economics (PPE). During his studies, Maayan worked as a research assistant for
Prof. Bezalel Porten and Prof. Zeev Drory. In addition, Maayan served as the
Secretary General for theAssociation of
Civil-Military Studies in Israel.
