Galia Maor
Galia served as President and CEO of the Bank Leumi Group between 1995 and
2012, after serving as Deputy CEO of Leumi between 1995 and 1991. She
has extensive managerial and financial experience in the Israeli and
international economy.
From 1963 to 1989, she held senior management positions at the Bank of Israel, including the position of Supervisor of Banks.
Mrs. Maor is on the Board of Directors for Teva and The Strauss Group, as well as the Open University of Israel and its Finance Committee. She is also Chairman for The Friends of Sheba Medical Center.
Mrs. Maor holds a B.A. in Economics and Statistics and an M.B.A. from the Hebrew University. She holds honorary doctorates from the Technion, Ben-Gurion and Bar-Ilan Universities.
